Toby Heelis and Alan Newton are the hospitality industry experts who met in their previous roles and shared a dream to transform the industry.

With over two decades of experience in hospitality, travel, and technology. Toby’s diverse career includes pivotal roles in prestigious event venues and luxury hotels, along with co-founding a distinguished private members club in the heart of London. Toby's entrepreneurial spirit is further showcased through his co-founding of leading companies such as EXPLORE, PressFirst.com, and Eventopedia.com, making significant contributions to the industry.

Alan brings 20 years of hospitality industry experience as a Director at leading EMEA event agencies Grass Roots & Zibrant (now BCD Meetings & Events) and attended the advisory boards of global hotel groups.  Both served on multiple industry association boards.

They realised they shared a truly aligned, ambitious vision to create products that would make a real difference to the hospitality industry and teamed up with technology experts & product design.

James PP, who joined as a co-founder and CPO, has 30 years of experience pioneering technology innovation, inventing the term “Creative Technology”. James built the first digital practices for 3 of the top 10 global ad agencies, before founding the first mobile development company landing 27 Appstore number 1s. He also created the first hospitality industry eCommerce platform in 2000 (my market.com) , the first brand Digital Asset Management platform (for Radisson Edwardian Hotels) and the first foodservice eCommerce platform for Unilever’s Caterplan division .

Lilian Itagiba Couto is our product design coach. Lilian has 20 years of product UX experience in digital, fintech and advertising. As a product validation expert, Lilian designs the entire product cycle through sprints, prototyping and service design. Previous roles include stints at the National Bank of Canada, Desjardins, Gamesys, PokerStars and Iris Worldwide.
